food evolution program
Learning to build a co-designed society where prosperity and resilience are accessible for all
program overview
This program weaves together three areas of competency and builds on contents and know-how that gather sufficient consensus, simultaneously exploring innovative and ancient practices. It is a learn by doing journey, where participants experience the full food cycle (field to fork) in diverse and inspiring contexts and during all seasons. The 2025 iteration of the program will be part of the TUI. Field to Fork. Portugal Alentejo Regenerativo project run by Terra Sintrópica and the TUI Care Foundation.

program description
The Food Evolution program commits to the Totally Good Future of the food system! Plenty of nutrient rich food, transformed in ways that heal us and our soils. The transition to regenerative practices requires collaborative leadership as well as know-how in the soil, food and health regeneration.
We explore how to invite abundance of nutrients in food, including enzymes, minerals, vitamins and other live organisms that favour our well being and balance, eliminating all detrimental ingredients such as pesticides, antibiotics and fertilisers.
The program is learn by doing, we visit inspiring projects and participants engage in all good practices.
Together we prepare to address some of the challenges this shift of the food system is bringing. From supporting the change from unhealthy to healthy food habits, to growing access to health supporting food, to changing laws and regulations so they may promote regenerative practices, to encouraging localization of food production, all the while bringing the relevant stakeholders to this transition.
