Addressing societal transformation towards a Totally Good Future in challenged territories

cooperative overview
Chamar o Futuro CRL (non for profit cooperative), Rebundance’s intervention arm in the social sector, has successfully implemented various projects with the support of private and social sector (European and national) grants. Inviting locals and other stakeholders in challenged territories, to collaboratively address their needs and recognise their collective resources, in collaborative processes.
If the social sector is considered the most challenged, it also implies that it carries infinite positive intervention possibilities.

about the cooperative
Chamar o Futuro (translated: Calling the future) has a vision:
May abundance manifest in cities through nature, in carefully cared for forests, gardens and farms that flourish in all available surfaces (on forgotten plots, rooftops and building façades), regaining prevalence in the lives of citizens, while cleaning water and air, feeding all people and buffering climate impact.
- We believe that collaboration is key to a societal system that promotes life with dignity for all beings. Collaborative leadership practices are part of the processes offered in our programs, contributing to the transition to a regenerative, fair and prosperous society.
- We also believe that the food system needs to be reframed to become health promoting, regenerative and predominantly local. The Food Evolution program addresses the food cycle – from field to fork – aiming to support the shift to regenerative practices.
- We also believe that cities are key environments to address and need to be renatured in order to systematically contribute to planet regeneration and community resilience. Inviting nature back into cities, bringing all possible ecosystems to life, while producing food is implicit in our Totally Good Future vision.
